TENNESSEE FIRE SPRINKLER CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION RECEIVES
 
$192,300 THROUGH FY 2007 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT AWARD
 
FROM U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY
 
The Tennessee Fire Sprinkler Contractors Association a Chapter of NFSA will deliver a three day training session to state fire sprinkler contractors, local AHJs, and other interested individuals. There will be six (6) three (3) day classes of training across the state of Tennessee, with the grant covering the lodging costs of attendees, Workbooks, as well as some meals. Classes that are scheduled to be taught by the National Fire Sprinkler Associations Training Division are, Sprinklers for Dwellings, Fire Sprinkler Hydraulics, and Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems.

July Meeting of the Tennessee Fire Sprinkler Contractors Association
 
The July meeting of TFSCA will be held on July 10, 2008 at the LaQuinta Inn – exit 317 off of I-40 in Crossville.
 
There will be a Board of Directors meeting starting at 10:30 a.m. c.s.t. at the La Quinta Inn exit 317.
 
The General meeting will start at 12:00 a.m. c.s.t  
 
Please notify the AHJ’s that you work with and invite them to the meeting.  
 
As the tradition continues there will be a golf outing at the Deer Creek Golf Club starting at 2:00 p.m. c.s.t.. If you are interested in playing golf please notify me (Wayne Waggoner w.waggoner@comcast.net) ASAP so that I can get a head count of players to make the tee times.  If you intend to play golf at a different course please make your own arrangements so that I will have an accurate head count for those playing with the association.
